Core Principles

Jin invites people into a process of exploration, loving awareness, and empowerment through breath, movement, voice, and sound.

People, not poses

Everyone can do yoga, and everyone deserves a practice that works for them. No experience necessary. People are invited to arrive as they are and explore as they wish.

Yoga is for everyone

We release expectations around perfect postures and unrealistic body standards in order to unleash the radiant presence of the liberated individual.

Choice, not force

There is no forced movement. This is a practice that meets people where they are and invites them into the power of choice, translating to a renewed sense of empowerment on and off the mat.

Collaboration

Jin invites clients into a dialogue to explore and deepen the practices that resonate, and grow into more challenging areas if the client wishes, at their own pace.

Respect for Western medicine

Jin respects the role of medical professionals and offers practices that can support and complement the client’s treatment regimen.

Respect for yoga’s indigenous roots

Jin acknowledges that yoga is an indigenous practice with roots in ancient India. Jin strives to continually learn and teach in a way that respects and honors the origins of this wisdom tradition.
